Akademik Lomonosov, the world's first 'gliding' atomic power plant (FNPP) for establishment in remote regions, has taken off on its first ocean voyage from this Baltic shipyard here, Russian state-run nuclear vitality organization Rosatom said on Saturday.

An announcement said the FNPP was towed out of the St Petersburg shipyard where it was built for movement to its last goal to the port of Pevek in Russia's extraordinary north-eastern locale of Chukotka.
